• Learn the necessary skills to assist the student in gaining suitable employmentNo fees, all courses are funded through SOLAS with the support of N.D.P
  • Students will receive a SOLAS training allowance without affecting benefits
  • Ability Enterprises work in co-operation with other agencies including MSLETB (Mayo Sligo, Leitrim Education and Training Board) and recruitment agencies to assist the student in gaining suitable employment or progress to further education.
    • ETB (Education and Training Board) have taken over the responsibilities of VECs the training functions of Foras Áiseanna Saothair (FAS, now known as SOLAS) the national training and employment authority.
  • Classes are kept small
  • Entry to courses throughout the year. Part-time courses available to those unable to participate in full time training
  • Hands on tutoring who work on one to one basis with StudentsAll courses are student centred. Tutors work on a one to one basis with each student
  • Modules include induction, skills assessment, assistive technology exploration, I.T. & office skills, social and job skills. All modules are certified by QQI or SOLAS
  • Our training centre has over 25 years experience working with people with limited mobility and the visually impaired. We have a large selection of state-of-the art assistive technology devices available to assist students.
  • We work with students to find suitable work placements in their own area
